HORNETS TAKE MELBOURNE
Over the June long weekend, our Hornets representative teams headed down to Melbourne to compete in the National Junior Classic and the Nunawading Tournament.
We are proud of all of our teams and what they achieved over the weekend, all gaining invaluable experience in tournament basketball and bonding as a team.
A massive congratulations to our U12 Girls Red, U16 Boys White & U18 Boys White, who all won their respective divisions at the Nunawading tournament. Special shout out to Tsquelle Impreso, Yohan Estrada & Alex Lawson for receiving the MVP Finals award.
At the Classic, our U12 Girls, U14 Boys, U16 Girls and U18 Girls Premier battled it out against the top teams in the country and proved themselves, with the U14 Boys finishing the tournament in an impressive 7th place.
All teams have learnt a lot in the lead up to the MJL finals and created memories that will last for a lifetime.
